There is a mark that has belonged to Vetera long before it became what it is today. It is carved into the stone at the entrance to the Rione Vetera, on an ancient window that is still part of the property today. A symbol recalling the coat of arms of an ancient family that, over time, has held stories, memories, and an aura of mystery. It is said that this place may have been a private space for prayer and reflection: a silent trace of those who inhabited these Sassi before us. We have chosen to bring that mark back to life through a collection of objects dedicated to Vetera, as well as the memory of a stay, an encounter, of Matera to treasure, take with you, or give as a gift.
