Vetera Matera is a refined 5-star luxury albergo diffuso born from a meticulous restoration and architectural enhancement in the heart of the Rione Vetera, amidst the evocative Sassi of Matera. The project sensitively interpreted the centuries-old history of these places, restoring harmony and beauty to the original environments. The spaces are arranged on multiple levels, with rooms and suites organically distributed among courtyards, terraces and stone passages, along the pedestrian streets and typical staircases of the Sasso Barisano.
The outdoor courtyard, the convivial heart of the structure, overlooked by the lounge bar, welcomes guests for breakfast in the morning, but also for coffee, aperitifs and contemporary cuisine proposals throughout the day, while the panoramic terraces, distributed on various levels, offer suggestive views of the city.
